Team were in great spirits and looking forward to the challenge ahead.
After we got to the stadium a few parents went to a local establishment for lunch. They ended up dining with the local district Police Chief and his family, he helped order the food because no one could speak english, he even shouted a few dishes. The parents left a couple of NZ momentos with his daughter.
The game was played in extreme conditions for kiwis, 35 degrees is hot! Never once did the team faulter, there was great chanting from the dugout throughout the game. Everyone should be very proud of the team and the way they conducted themselves. Well done. Don't forget Chinese Taipei are one of the favourites to win the Little League World Series in USA.
